During our weekend stay in Taipei, we visited the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall. Chiang Kai - Shek was a very powerful and influential leader back in the 20th century China. The Memorial consist of a huge statue of Chiang Kai - Shek sitting on his royal throne. There are two guards guarding the statute. These guards are changed every hour on the hour. They only stand there for forty five minutes because the changing of the guard itself uses up 15 minutes of that hour. That is a pretty awesome ceremony!! Downstairs, they have a section that is devoted to the wonders of our solar system. That was pretty cool!! They also had a museum at the Memorial. :)
This is me, standing in front of the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall.
